Sorry for the delay, I was completely swamped at work, but here it is, the fifth Thirty for Typography Thursday! This week's typographically gifted designer(s) is iLK. iLK is a little freelance studio located in Paris, France, made up of two very cool guys, Ludovic Prigent and his cat, Pitou. They're known for their highly developed skills in Graphic Design, Art Direction, Illustration, Identity, Web Design, Print Design, and Photography. I was instantly drawn to their clean, yet urban style. When designers throw the word "urban" around, I think too many people think gritty or grungy, but I've noticed that the new "urban" look is much cleaner, smoother, playful and bubbly. The new "urban" typography seems to be based more on flow and direction than anything else, perhaps reflecting the new beats used in music... Check out the rest of iLK's work by clicking here.
