Sweets for my Sweets

There's a saying that the way into a man's heart is through his stomach, but I think this concept applies to women as well, although a little bit of jewelry can go a long ways. How can you accomplish both? Easy, just get her one (or all) of these wonderful rings by Divine Sweetness via papernstitch.

Detailed Simplicity

As a designer, I'm always thriving to simplify and maximize at the same time. It's a skill I'm constantly trying to improve upon and have found a wonderful illustration that somewhat embodies my goal.

It's All in the Eyes

I am completely in love with Travis Louie's art. It's mesmerizing in so many different ways, and leaves you wondering about the lives of his characters and stories behind the portraits. First, you notice the freaky nature of these creatures that are surprisingly human, then the eyes that look up at you literally pop off the page, finally, you become engrossed with the soft and hard focus play throughout the Victorian and Edwardian pieces.
