The Perfect Key
Once again, simplicity is the best policy and I honestly feel a little embarrassed that I didn't come up with these perfectly functional designs. Writing with Boxes
These oversized kraft boxes created by The Design Office reintroduce the alphabet not as 26 distinct letters, but as the result of combining geometric parts. The 4-inch cubes may be viewed and stacked from any direction, creating unexpected shapes and letterforms.

Edholm Ullenius – As Seen At Ikea

As soon as I saw Edholm and Ullenius' work, I thought it looked familiar, but it wasn't until I dug deeper into their pattern collection that I realized I saw a lot of them at Ikea while shopping for curtains. Based in Stockholm, the two designers create fresh and colorful designs that appear to attract a wide range of tastes.

Vale Al's Playful Mind
I don't know much about this particular artist, Vale Al, but what I do know is that the simple shapes he/she uses are a perfect balance of realism and caricature, and that the use of color is very well refined, while the use of texture is simply perfect. To see more of his/her work, click here.

Daily Monster Intake – A Buff Dose
Yes, I'm taking advantage of this month to continue bombarding you with monsters : ) Meet Buff Monster, who lives in Hollywood and cites heavy metal music, ice cream and Japanese culture as major influences. The color pink, as a symbol of confidence, individuality and happiness, is present in everything he creates. He became known by putting up thousands of hand-silkscreened posters across Los Angeles (and some far-away places). He now works exclusively on fine art paintings, collective toys and select design projects. His work has been featured in numerous galleries, usually displaying large installations to accompany the paintings, and BM has released loads of signature vinyl toys through MINDstyle. Check out his work and store at the following site.

M(o)ustaches are HOT
From the porn star mustache to the finger staches, no matter how you twist 'em, mustaches are totally in! Now boys, calm down, I'm not telling you to go out and actually grow one, but keep an eye out for them cuz they're everywhere!
Mr. Moustache tote bag is available at Supermaket, a site created to connect designers directly to customers for the best products ever!
Zoomed version of bag
Mustachios by Laura George is an 8 x 10 print of her very own illustration and is available here.
What is a "finger stach" you ask? Well, a finger stach is when someone draws or tattoos a mustache on their index finger to be able to hold it up under their (or someone else's) nose to look like a mustache. They come in all shapes and sizes are a great for a quick laugh. Above is my brother, Franck, with his girlfriend Cub, they're so cute!!! To see more, click here.
